Buying an unlocked phone, will I be able to put my Cricket sim card into it?
Buying an unlocked phone, will I be able to put my Cricket sim card into it?
I'm on Cricket Wireless (AT&T) and looking to buy an unlocked LG G4, it's listed as the North American Variant with the following listing for cellular networks:
2G (CDMA/IS-95 ) MHz:800, 1900
2.5G (EDGE, GSM/GPRS ) MHz:850, 900, 1800, 1900
3G (CDMA2000, EV-DO ) MHz:800, 1900
3.5G (HSPA+, UMTS/WCDMA ) MHz:850, 900, 1900, 2100
4G (LTE ) Bands:2, 4, 5, 12, 13, 17, 25
Does this mean I can put my Cricket sim card in and have it work without issues? My understanding is that all of the right bands are there. I've never bought an unlocked phone before so I'd appreciate your input so I can make sure I'm doing this right. Thanks so much for your help!

The 4G bands are good for AT&T (2/25, 4, 5, 12/17), so yes.
Yes you can. Unlocked phones can accept other GSM networks. Recently I unlocked mine through the unlocked service from Classicunlocking.com I was able to swap to other GSM networks.
