Exercise app question

The second day I wore my watch, it said I completed 433 minutes of the 30 minute exercise goal! Every day since then, I can barely make it to ten minutes. With similar activities on all of these days. Has anyone else experienced this?

To credit progress towards your daily Exercise goal, the Activity app aims to identify activity that equals or exceeds the intensity of a brisk walk. When you are not using the Workout app, the Activity app relies on your arm motion (measured by the built-in accelerometer) to track movement for this purpose, so allow your arm to swing naturally as you walk or run.

Your Exercise results on the second day may have been caused by various factors including, for example: misinterpretation of your arm movements, a workout (in the Workout app) having been left running for longer than intended and/or inaccurate personal information having been entered.

To check that your personal information is accurate (and to update it over time):

- On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch tab> Health> Edit - tap and adjust items, then tap on Done.

You may also wish to calibrate your watch, which will help to improve the accuracy of various estimations (including Exercise credit) made by the Activity app and Workout app. More information and instructions for how to calibrate your watch are available via the link below.
