Sounds like your iPhone was hacked/illegitimately unlocked before and now has been locked back to the rightful carrier.
The phone was never hacked. It has always been on the AT&T network and always belonged to me.
If you had'nt had a permanent unlock, the phone is likely to be locked through update. The only solution is to get it permanently unlock it. I suggest you can approach Classicunlocking.com and specify the country,locked network of iPhone 5.Based on the availability you can get the permanent unlock service along with free instructions.
