my iPhone 6 Plus Proximity Sensor is not working after upgrading to iOS 9.3.

It seems this update has a lot of issues which need to be ironed out!
Try backing up the phone, then restoring to factory. Test the proximity sensor before "restoring from update". This should tell you if it's a software or hardware issue.
i had done that already. What happen now is that I am now running iOS 9.3, and before upgrading to th version, all was well and ok. So even if I restore it to factory setting, it will still be running iOS 9.3 now isnt it?
Yes, that is true. I know it's clutching at straws... but it's something to try.

It looks like Apple have their work cut out for them on fixing all the bugs with this release! These forums are full of post 9.3 update problems!
