My Ipad's (and my iPhone) browsers are automatically diverted to some other URL, is this a new virus?

When I try to connect a newspaper website, I type the newspaper's URL and before opening the web site I intended browser try to connect some other URLs (many different URLs, one after another).

Sometimes it pops up a little dialog saying that I should download a necessary add-in or plug-in.

Sometimes, it automatically goes to AppStore and try to download an application (every time different application).

I can practically use any browser (it is the same for Safari, Chrome).

It is the same for my iPhone (6Plus) and iPad Mini (both iOS 9.3.1)

Any help ?

Dear dirtdog1960theone, marksteve_74 and lpastor,

It turned out to be an Internet provider problem. That is there is a problem with Turkcell Superonline. Call center says that there are some customers affected with this problem. I used Puffin Browser and did not experience any problem while Chrome, Safari and Mozilla are effected (on iPad).

Tap Settings> Safari then tap Clear History & Website Data then restart your iPad.

If that helped, do the same for Chrome.

Try that on the iPhone. If it helps, do the same for your iPad mini.

If nothing helped, restart your Wi-Fi router then try again.

This automatic, out-of-control, URL diversion happens on both wi-fi and GSM network.

I cleaned Safari history and cleaned everything (history, cookies, password, etc) on Chrome (on both iPhone and iPad)

I turned off and on iPhone and iPad.

I turned off wi-fi router and uplugged the data and power cable, waited and turned it again.

It did not help.

I still have the problem.

iPhone functions as a phone without any problem.

I cannot use any of the devices for Internet surfing.

More info:

When I connect apple.com, cnn.com, Chrome does not jump to some random web sites. However if I connect a weaker (less security) web site then Chrome (or Safari) jumps to other random web sites.
