Phone doesn't display time/date upon picking it up. After you dial someone and are talking to them the phone redials the same number and puts you on hold. When you touch the button to go back to the original call, you are then on a conference call. When you open the screen you may be on cameral, calculator, or any other apps, just not the menu. Verizon has replace sim card twice and that resolves the problem for about 2 months.You can do a reset by going into settings and selecting the reset. Make sure that before you do rhe reset,texts and contacts are backed up as well as your data.
once the factory reset is done, you can choose to restore from backup and that will help you set up the device
