Phone screen is black, but assistive touch, and sounds still work.
So, my phone screen is black and won't work. This has happened many times, and usually I force re-start by holding down the lock and home button, which works. The only problem is that my home button fell out not too long ago and I cant do that. I tried holding down the lock button, and the assistive touch "Home Button" but nothing happened. I saw other posts that said to let my battery drain and then power it back up, but I don't feel like waiting for it to die because its currently at 99%. I guess I could run my music to let it drain faster, but there has to be another solution, right?? Someone pleeeaaassseee help :///
You should get the phone serviced by Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider next to your place. If your home button fell out, there probably has been more damage to the hardware, causing your screen problems as well.
