Simple Photos usage

Hi chaps ... I don't want iCloud sharing, Photo Stream, Camera Roll or anything else (well I'd like pics I take with my iPhone to be somewhere, maybe Camera Roll but i only want iphone images not other rubbish from other sources) and I'd like to create an album on my iMac called, say, "iPhone" on my iMac and populate it with my favourite pictures and then when I sync my phone the "iPhone" album will be synced (or is it sunk) then when I'm out and about without wifi I can show friends pretty pictures of my grandson ... kind of like when I create an album of favourite tracks in iTunes and it gets synced to my iPhone ... any help please ?

You don't need to drag anything, it's available in the iTunes interface and you can sync from there.

Note: to be available in iTunes you need to turn off the iCloud Photo Library on your Mac too.

Connect your Phone. Click on it in the iTunes Window.

ON the left hand panel note the Photos option. Click on it. Check the Sync Photos Option. Select the Album you want to Sync.

Other sources? Turn off the iCloud Photo Library and all Photo Streams.

Which app do you want to make this Album in? Photos? iPhoto? Something else?

Thanks Terence - I can make the album with anything but I guess "Photos" would easiest, pity there's no way, it seems, of dragging an album into iTunes for syncing next time I plug the phone in !
